Right from the first moment I made contact with Yorkshire Removal I knew that they were a professional company. I heard about them through a recommendation but it did not take long from meeting Terry to know that they would look after us on our important day. The price was certainly right, but most importantly you need to be confident that your requirements will be met, and ours certainly were. We had to change date a couple of times and this was never an issue which was really reassuring given that this is such a stressful time.
On the move day the team were there on time and worked so hard to pack all of our belongings safely into the van. We could not believe how professionally everything was placed into the van and we were ready to go within a few hours. Terry called in to make sure everything was going to plan and we were all unloaded at our new house by 3pm.

Morning Terry,

Well it’s the morning after the day before and I feel 100% better than I expected to! 

The team who moved me led by Darren were charming, kind, professional and efficient. It was also lovely to see you pop up on the job like a minor celebrity whilst they were still loading up in Harrogate. 

They really went the extra mile for me and it’s made such a difference to my whole experience! 

I’m sorry, I can’t remember the name of the young lad helping Darren at this end but what a charmer! Conversation skills and humour way beyond his years! Nothing was too much  bother for these lads! I’m way more organised than I expected to be at this stage.

Even the dog seemed to enjoy himself and that was an achievement. Couldn’t find a sitter at this end so had to keep him with us but he sat calmly in the garden and observed the proceedings with interest. I watched him enjoying a fuss as tools and equipment were carted down to the shed. 

When they arrived at the house I told them I was stressed. Darren said their job was to take all that away and it’s exactly what they did! And I got hugs!

Thank you so much for everything. You provide a valuable service at a difficult time. I shall be recommending you to anyone I know who is moving house.

I have been meaning to write for some time regarding my move from Pateley Bridge to Surrey just before Christmas Just to say I have only good things to say about your company and would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone. I have used other larger companies before at considerable expense and received very poor service and considerable stress along with damage to property!

Terry and his team helped us move from Harrogate to Bramham in Leeds in September 2018. Our move began in June when we had to move our furniture into storage due to our new house being renovated. The guys from Yorkshire Removals delivered boxes and packing accessories in plenty of time for our move. As we were moving into storage, Terry agreed to help us by taking full boxes and furniture in intervals, so we could at least move around the house. Each time the guys came to collect, they arrived bang on time and were very quick, efficient and friendly.

We had to push our delivery date back at short notice and although I’m sure this was a complete pain for Terry, he did his very best to accommodate us.

When we got into the new house, the team brought our furniture and belongings back from their storage facility, placed everything where we asked them to put it and they went above and beyond to get our wardrobes up a tight staircase; taking them to bits and putting them back together in situ.

These guys are just brilliant. I can’t recommend them enough. They are professional, speedy, super-efficient…. and really nice fellas.

Our move with Yorkshire Removals earlier this month could not have gone any better. So, what contributed to our excellent experience? It started the moment we met Terry when he visited us to prepare a quote and continued through the whole process from agreeing move dates to delivering packing materials, to the move itself and agreeing to collect our used boxes once emptied. Quite frankly, we have no idea how Terry, or the ‘A Team’ – Darren, Colin and Al who moved us – could have been more polite, helpful and professional. Having been let down at the last minute by another removal firm due to the delay in solicitors being able to provide us with a date to exchange contracts, to say we were reaching breaking point is probably an understatement. Enter Terry and the guys from Yorkshire Removals. Thanks to a last minute cancellation, Terry was able to accommodate us. Our house was not small and we were told by the guys we’d broken a few records with the amount of stuff we had in the kitchen alone and this was indicative of the great sense of humor, coupled with huge amounts of hard work and patience displayed by Alistair, Darren, Mick (12 sugars in his tea), Thomas and Kyle. It was gone 9pm on Friday before they left our new home, having arrived to pack up our old place on Thursday.

Yorkshire removals were not only competitive on price they were an absolute pleasure to work with.
